To whom it may concern,
Rick Michel is a true showman and professional. His ability to charismatically hold a crowd and entrance them is second to none. Rick joined us for two tours across Canada for our Sinatra and Friends show, bringing his signature enthusiasm and theatrical gravitas to every performance.
Rick tells crowds 'this is not an imitation, but an interpretation' and it shows as he delivers an original heart-felt performance time and time again that feels as unique and uplifting as the first time you saw him.
Whether he is on stage or off, Rick demonstrates the highest caliber of character and passion. It is always a pleasure having the opportunity to work with Rick Michel.
Until next time.

The Hammond Port Authority would love to have you back with your Sinatra Forever show on Saturday, June 17, 2017.
As always, our patrons were raving about your Sinatra Forever show. Upping the band to a 24-piece orchestra from the 12-piece in 2015 proved to add an entirely different dimension to the evening. As I walked around during the event I actually heard someone call a friend of their phone to tell them to drop what they were doing and come to the show. We’ve had numerous people contact us regarding next year’s event. You always put on an exceptional show and l we’re looking forward to having you back in 2017!

Good Day, Rick,
I wanted to thank you again for your time and talents you so graciously shared during our annual meeting.
It was a pleasure to partner with you and you were such an incredible surprise to all of our attendees! Your tribute to Frank Sinatra is one of the best many of our guests had ever seen. I know I speak for our entire group when I say that the evening was “magical” because you were a part of it. It’s been far too many years since a fine dinner party was following by dancing and singing along.
You engaged an audience of all age ranges and with that being said, we would like to cordially invite you back to our 2017 meeting to be just as intricate a part of bringing everyone together as you did so well this past spring.
In the spirit of service,

I wanted to drop a quick note to thank you for your recent performances with us. It was an absolute pleasure working with you for a second year in a row and once again, you brought the house down. Sinatra Forever was a huge hit with our customers and the positive comments are still coming in.
Thank you again for bringing your talent and professionalism to our stage. I look forward to working with you again very soon.

"It was an absolute pleasure having Rick Michel perform his "Sinatra Forever" show on December 12th, at the Santander Performing Arts Center.
Rick is a true professional in the industry and has a passion and fire about him that reflected on his performance. He truly immerses himself in his knowledge of Frank Sinatra; making sure his show is the most accurate portrayal of the original.
It was amazing seeing our crowd feel young again, even if it was just for a couple of hours. He made many people's night and took them back to an era of some of the greatest music of all time.
I highly recommend working with Rick when looking to add programming to your venue's lineup."

Rick, a short note to thank you for your generosity in inviting Mary and I to your fabulous show at the Cannery. I don't know what I expected, but, you were absolutely amazingl What a professional tribute to probably the best singer of our time. You knocked it out of the park, I have seen many shows over the years (not so much lately as I am in bed before most shows end!) and you were awesome. Mary and I appreciated the love songs and your interpretation, and the band, oh that band! BTW the maitre d' you introduced sat in front of us at our table and his daughter Shelley Levine Berkley and Mary were among the first woman attorneys in Las Vegas and Mr. Levine and Mary reminisced about that time period. Thank you again...
Your show, "Sinatra Forever" with the 24 piece New Jersey Symphonic Orchestra was a hit! Your presentation was a wonderful addition to our 2015 line-up of free shows at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ.
You packed the house with over 7,000 patrons. Your fantastic stage presence had the audience enjoying every song and applauding. And if we closed our eyes it was Sinatra himself on stage. We received a record number of calls the next day with rave reviews. As a matter of fact your performance was so impressive that the Garden State Arts Foundation would love to have you return next season.
Again let me say that "Sinatra Forever" was entertaining and a real crowd pleaser in addition to being extremely professional and we are very proud to have you perform at our venue.
As always, I just wanted to let you know what a pleasure it has been to work with you and your team on your latest adventure, Sinatra Forever. What an experience! When I had to shop for the perfect night to honor one of the most talented singers of our time, Frank Sinatra, this couldn't have been a better fit for us, the public and our casino. It really was the perfect fit!
Your shows are always fantastic, the crowds were ecstatic and our gamblers were happy! Not only were you easy to work with, our customers loved you and your show! I have and will continue to use you at all of our properties.
Thank you again and I look forward to bringing you back!
We are so grateful to you for bringing Sinatra Forever! to TPAC and War Memorial Auditorium last month. What a magical evening - from the buzz of excitement in the lobby even before we opened the doors, to the sight of couples making their own dance floor as they enjoyed a wonderful set list of classic Sinatra tunes; it was a fantastic performance. The anecdotes you shared between songs were charming and informative, and helped our audience appreciate what you do so much more. You really are a Sinatra aficionado, and your talent and passion for his music are palpable.
As you start to talk to other theatres about booking the show, I want to give you my whole hearted support. You weren't just a great performer, but you were also a delightful guest. You and Leslie were both timely and thoughtful in communication with our staff as we worked to prepare for your arrival. Once here on site, you and your team treated each and every member of our staff with charm and grace, and the orchestra enjoyed working with you both in rehearsal and performance. Additionally, we so appreciate the time you took for personal meet and greets with some of our very important patrons. We are very pleased we had the chance to host you, Greg, and Leslie at War Memorial Auditorium.
I do wish you the very best as Sinatra Forever! grows to more cities and venues, and thank you again for a fantastic eveningl
In behalf of the Welcome Home Troops team, we want to extend our gratitude and appreciation for your support at the Celebrity Golf Tournament Gala at Canyon Gate Country Club, Las Vegas, NV. You have supported through your gifts and talents the Mission of Welcome Home Troops: to bring the hearts and minds of our Soldiers home through healing and play, one soldier, one family and one community at a time. Our guests were truly entertained by your performance "Sinatra Forever", with a fantastic voice and comedy that kept everyone laughing and reminiscing fond memories of Frank Sinatra's legendary songs.
We salute your service as a veteran, and your continued assistance to benefit our Military Families through Welcome Home Troops®.
I just wanted to say thank you again for bringing your "Sinatra Forever" show to the 2014 Ohio State Fair.
The show was a big hit not only with our Senior Day crowd, but with others who stopped by to enjoy it. I was very impressed with the quality of your show and received a lot of positive comments from those in attendance.
I'm sure glad I saw you showcase at IEBA last year and wish you all the best!
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Rick Michel, who performs an interpretation tribute to Frank Sinatra, known as "Sinatra Forever". Rick performed at the Sevier County Fair on August 19, 2012, in Richfield, Utah. Rick's impersonation of Frank Sinatra is phenomenal! Rick is very professional on stage. His focus was directed toward entertaining his guests, and that is certainly what he did. He entertained and captivated the audience with his charming audience appeal and if you didn't know better, you would have thought Frank himself was on stage. Not only was his performance very professional and entertaining, but working with Rick was a delight. He was easy to work with, organized, and very positive about making our event a success. Rick helped in a few ways with advertising our event, including spending time at the local radio station for an interview. Rick's performance of "Sinatra Forever" was a fabulous presentation and Sevier County looks forward to having him entertain us again. I would highly recommend Rick to perform at your next event.
I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful performance you gave at the Rylander Theatre. You gave our audience a show they will not soon forget. I enjoyed watching our patrons, so enthusiastically, pose for photos with you all before the show - a treat they were not expecting. More than that though, I enjoyed watching them crowd around you afterwards to share their appreciation and excitement. The on-stage banter and camaraderie charmed the audience while the musical numbers entertained them throughout the night. They were quick on their feet for a standing ovation, a true testament to your talents and the success of the show. I, personally, appreciate how easy it was to work with you all and the gracious attitude you showed towards me and my staff. I look forward to recommending this show to my colleagues in the Georgia Presenters Network as well as other theatres across the country. We hope to see you again at the Rylander Theatre!
I wanted to follow up with you after the incredible Drinkin'-Singin'-Swingin’ Salute to Frank Sinatra-Sammy Davis Jr.-Dean Martin show you and your team put on for our client's 80th surprise birthday celebration. It was more than we could have imagined. When we asked if you could include a few jokes tailored towards our client, we had no idea how much effort you would put into the "roast". You managed to cover all the topics near and dear to them as well as include several family members. It truly felt like a fully customized show which worked perfectly with the overall makeup of all the guests. Even the servers and caterers were having a hard time keeping a straight face.
The 12 piece band was amazing and all the performers, especially you, were so professional, talented, and really put on a world class act. You made the evening a very special event, one that I know our clients and their family and friends will remember for a lifetime.
We look forward to working with you again, knowing that whatever production we request will be top notch.
Thank you so much for helping me throw "The World's Biggest Happy Hour." Your participation helped make the event a huge success. There is no other city in the world that can call upon such a tremendous group of talented entertainers and showcase them all on one stage. This event was able to convey why Las Vegas is named the "Entertainment Capital of the World."
Bombay Sapphire Gin and Southern Wine and Spirits made it possible for us to raise money for charity while raising our glasses to toast the City of Las Vegas. What a great party! I certainly hope that you had a fantastic time.
Again, I thank you for making the evening so very memorable for me. Your talents brought so much life and energy to the party and it would not have been the same without you. I am truly the happiest Mayor in the world!
I just wanted to extend my sincerest thanks to you and the crew for providing top notch ["Drinkin'-Singin'-Swingin' Salute to Frank Sinatra-Sammy Davis Jr.-Dean Martin"] performance at the Aladdin Hotel on October 25th!
I know that we pulled you in at the 11th hour and having said this, you, Steve and Doug learned your lines, learned the blocking as well as the songs within a 48 hour period – this was a phenomenal thing to watch.
You are obviously seasoned professionals and wouldn't hesitate to call on you again for a performance. Thanks for putting on quite a show. My client couldn't have been happier!
I just wanted to take a second and drop you a note regarding the performances of Frank, Sammy & Dean: Hear and Now held at our casino last month.
All three of you gentlemen provided the customers attending the show a truly wonderful experience, allowing them to return to their glory days of yesteryear and enjoy timeless classics they grew up to love and enjoy. Everything from the vocals to the mannerisms to the stage presence and audience interaction was truly reminiscent of the actual Frank, Sammy & Dean from years past.
Customer response has been great and the demand to bring the show back to Belterra is fantastic. This show is a truly a throwback to the old days of Vegas, and the impact on the customers was great. We look forward to working with you again and wish you the best of luck.
Thank you very much the great performances and the effect you had on our customers.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Rick Michel, who brought his ["Drinkin'-Singin'-Swingin' Salute to Frank Sinatra-Sammy Davis Jr.-Dean Martin"] show to San Diego for Bollotta Entertainment and one of our most discerning clients.
A DMC, our client had been working with their client to turn an ordinary recognition event into a compelling presentation sure to keep the attendees' focus. In such, the DMC promised their client a segmented show that would be seamlessly woven into the award presentation. This was negotiated prior to contracting Rick Michel.
What impressed me so about Rick, is that from the onset, he was able and willing to "go with the flow." Although his Rat Pack show wasn't formatted for segmented viewing, he made the necessary alterations to make it so.
And what a show it was! Superb vocal and physical impersonations, driven by that famous "devil-may-care," attitude that mode the Rat Pack so popular back in the 1960s. As uncanny as it seems, it truly felt like were transported back in time.
Some impersonators possess the appropriate skills to recreate, with supreme likeness, an artist's repertoire. Few others embody the essence of the artist and in such, bring him or her to life. Rick Michel and his company of professionals do the latter.
And what's more, Rick was so very easy with which to work. I would hire him again in a New York minute, and look forward to future opportunities to work together.
I just wanted to let you know what a pleasure it has been to work with you and your show "Frank-Sammy-Dean - Hear and Now". Our first experience was great, our second experience was greater.
The show was fantastic, the crowds were ecstatic and our gamblers were happy! Not only were you easy to work with but our customers loved your wide variety of music, comedy and class! The audience interaction with our guests made such an impact that we are still hearing about it.
Thank you again and hopefully we will see you soon!
I wanted to send you a quick note and say thank you for your time and effort concerning our ["Drinkin'-Singin'-Swingin' Salute to Frank Sinatra-Sammy Davis Jr.-Dean Martin"] show on 3/13/2004. It was a pleasure to work with you and your team. In my opinion the entire show went extremely well and the response from our guests was very positive. The show performers were very authentic and totally met our customer's expectations. I would definitely recommend you to other Harrah's properties. Please free to use this letter as a point of reference for future opportunities. I am also willing to give a show description or performance critic over the phone.
It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Rick Michel and his ["Drinkin'-Singin'-Swingin' Salute to Frank Sinatra-Sammy Davis Jr.-Dean Martin"] for your casino or hotel.
I hired Rick for our 2006 Pre New Year's parties as well as our New Year's Eve Parties. I also went on to have him in our showroom for two weeks in January of 2007.
During our Pre-New Year's and New Year's Eve private show events, we had such a buzz about this salute to the […] show, our January […] sales and direct mail event response rate spiked. Our January 2007 direct mail response rate was approximately1% higher (WOW!) than our 2006 January show and our January 2007 showroom sales were up approximately 21% compared to prior year!
Our players and guests were completely entertained with the performances of all three principle acts ("Frank, Sammy and Dean") and the 12 piece jazz band really added that extra punch to the show.
Let me say that I have no doubt with the proper marketing (Rick does a great interview), Rick Michel's show will be a complete success at your establishment.
I'm looking forward to having this show again here in the fall!
In December of 2004 we purchased a ["Drinkin'-Singin'-Swingin' Salute to Frank Sinatra-Sammy Davis Jr.-Dean Martin"] show from Rick Michel that was intended to drive casino play and cash revenue from ticket sales. This event topped our expectations in both of these categories largely due to the unique guest experience that this event offered and the authenticity of the production. Viewing this act is truly a unique experience paralleled only by seeing the authentic Rat Pack shows many years ago.
Mr. Michel and his crew are not only great performers, but are also a maintenance free show as attested by their professionalism. I highly recommend this show for your venue.
Just wanted to drop you a note to say how wonderful your performance was at my "special" party.
Your impersonations were fabulous (particularly Dean Martin & Frank Sinatra) but all of them combined to make it a truly stand out show.
If you ever need a personal reference as to your work, I would be delighted to help. Your show was great, you look great, and you are punctual, easy to work with and a crowd pleaser.
Thanks for being a big part in the party's success, I can't tell you how many rave letters I have received. Everyone had a good time.
After seeing your Tribute to Frank on DVD I was blown away. Thank you Rick.
Nothing will ever top what you did for my show as the voice of Mr. Sinatra from heaven. I wanted a “One For My Baby" feel for my *Multiplying Bottles Illusion" and you gave me much much more. Thank you Frank . . . I mean Rick . . . you know what I meant.
I just want to take a brief moment to personally congratulate you on the stunning Sinatra Forever concert you performed in Costa Rica.
You have Mr. Sinatra's vocal greatness down to a tee!! No wonder the audience was on its feet cheering you. It was a memorable evening of magical music.
I loved the selections. I loved your styling. I loved the orchestrations. I loved your performance from start to finish.
I wish you much success with the Sinatra Forever tribute as you take it on the road or release it on DVD
It was such a pleasure to work with you in February! The guests at our conference enjoyed your show and are still talking about getting to meet Dean, Rodney and Frank!
Your opening act of our convention really put a great "old Vegas" twist on our show and it was just the right touch that we were looking for. Your Dean Martin is fabulous; classy and almost scary [that] it's so realistic. Rodney Dangerfield is, of course, always a great hit and your rendition and ability to work in facts about New Vision was great!
Last, but certainly not least, Frank Sinatra was a huge success at our gala dinner. The guests loved being able to meet and have pictures taken with "Frank."
You are such a talented entertainer, and I look forward to working with you again.
I just want to say what a pleasure it was doing business with you.
Since last spring when we started preparing for the marketing of our 09-10 season until the appearance date of Drinkin’-Singin’-Swingin’ at the Paramount, you have always been accommodating and very prompt in sending us any information we requested. Many times you responded within the hour. It makes my job so much more enjoyable when the information is sent without delay.
We have had many great shows since I have been here at the Paramount Theatre but I have to say Drinkin’-Singin’-Swingin’ has been both mine and my husband’s favorite show. You had the audience’s attention from before the show started until the well after the show ended. Your interaction in full character in the lobby with the audience prior to the show helped add to the excitement of the evening. Guests enjoyed meeting and obtaining autographs from “Frank, Sammy and Dean” after the show as well.
With the economy as it is, this has been a difficult year for sales. In the Marketing Department it is always our goal to fill the house, which we did. This was such an easy show to market. In talking with the rest of the staff here at the Paramount there has been nothing but accolades on how delightful it was to work with you. That in itself is a testament to you and your show.
Your positive attitude and pleasant personality which was displayed prior to the show continued through your performance that evening and into the days following the show. Thank you again for a truly enjoyable evening of entertainment (experience) and I look forward to doing business with you in the future.
It was great to have you back on the Sycuan Showcase Theatre stage for another run of ["Drinkin'-Singin'-Swingin' Salute to Frank Sinatra-Sammy Davis Jr.-Dean Martin"] shows, this one titled Drinkin'-Singin'-Swingin'. I was concerned, at first, with the change but those concerns proved unfounded the minute you all took the stage. It is a fantastic show!
I make it a point to be stationed outside of the theatre doors when guests leave after a show to get their comments. Everyone was so positive and thoroughly entertained. All of us had such fun working with you and your entire group. We will definitely be rebooking your show.
See you next year!
